DOWNLOAD: Playing Cards (datapack + resource pack)
Implementing traditional playing cards into Minecraft. Card art (by @alicetaur) is inspired by the game.
To start, run the command: /trigger deck

This is a Vanilla Minecraft creation by Phoenix SC and @alicetaur. It is Multiplayer compatible amd open-ended, that is, there are no rules.
Some commands are visible if the player holds the provided Carrot on a Stick, which is used to select cards in your hand.
Commands:
/scoreboard players set Players stats <1-4> – Sets the number of players
/scoreboard players set Scoreboard stats <0-1> – Sets whether cards should be placed face-up (1) or face-down (0)
/trigger deck – Spawn playing card deck; reset playing cards
/trigger end – Removes all playing cards from the game
/trigger shuffle – Shuffles the deck
/trigger upcard – Reveals a starting card from the deck (works only if the deck is using Gamemode 1)
/trigger discard_jokers – Removes jokers from the game
/trigger deal_1 – Deals one card to all players
/trigger deal_all – Deals cards to all players until the deck is empty
/trigger draw – Draws one card from the deck
/trigger sort – Sorts your hand in ascending order
/trigger clear_selected – Clears selected cards
/trigger place – Places selected cards onto the pile
/trigger reveal_standby – Reveals standby cards on the table (works only if the deck is using Gamemode 0)
/trigger pickup – Adds the pile to your hand
/trigger flop/turn/river – Deals cards from the deck onto the table (Texas hold ’em mode)
